Harry Potter & The Order of the Phoenix (2007) – Prophecy Orb

Prophecy orb used in the production of the 2007 Warner Brothers film Harry Potter & The Order of The Phoenix. Now in his fifth year at Hogwarts, Harry learns that many in the wizarding community do not know the truth of his encounter with Lord Voldemort. Cornelius Fudge, minister of Magic, appoints his toady, Dolores Umbridge, as Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, for he fears that professor Dumbledore will take his job. But her teaching is deficient and her methods, cruel, so Harry prepares a group of students to defend the school against a rising tide of evil.

These orbs were used in the finale of the film where numerous orbs were seen in the Ministry of Magic. This piece is made of plastic, this piece is crafted from two half spheres and is filled with white cotton with small amounts of red cotton mixed in. The orb has been lightly painted on the outside and features an applied golden strip in the middle. The orb shows slight wear from us win the film and remains in excellent, production used condition.
