Buck Rogers Laser Pistol

Production-made stunt laser pistol created for the 1979 science fiction television series Buck Rogers in the 25th Century. This classic Glen A. Larson television show tells the story of Captain Buck Rogers who launched in the Ranger 3 spacecraft from Earth in the year 1987, but due to a life support malfunction he fell into suspended animation until he was revived in the 25th century. His adventures spanned a theatrical film and two television seasons. This laser pistol was typical of the ones carried by members of the Defense Directorate, the organization that Buck joined that protected future Earth. The pistol is made of foam rubber, is painted gun metal gray with silver highlights, and has a translucent resin tip. The pistol measures approximately 11.25 x 7 x 2 inches.
