DREDD – Judge Dredd (Karl Urban) Armour

Dredd (Karl Urban) Armour from Pete Travis’ 2012 sci-fi action film Dredd, an adaptation of 2000AD’s cult comic series Judge Dredd.

This Judge ‘bulletproof’ garment was based on motorcycle armor, adapted with heavy duty quick-release buckles and additional straps, the chest, back and shoulders are covered with ‘protective’ panels of polyurethane with a brass colored eagle to represent the Justice Department on the right shoulder, it’s buckled state signifies it’s use later in the movie. This particular set features a brass-effect badge on the left chest identifying this as “Dredd” Judge Dredd. The lower right panel is removed but present, likely in preparation of the bullet hit effect as a small cut has been made in the fabric of the armor. Some light weathering and overall in excellent production used condition.
