Coraline – Original Puppet Face and Head

An original puppet face, head and ears of Coraline, from the 2009 movie Coraline. Produced by the innovative stop-motion production company Laika Studios using 3D printing, this puppet head is made from resin and is painted in detail. This face consists of two separate pieces that have magnets on their backsides — a feature that allowed expressions to be easily changed on the puppet head during the process of stop-motion capture. This original puppet has since had the face fixed in place to the head also the hair, eyebrows and jacket have been added to complete this wonderful display. Overall in good condition, the display simply stands in place in an acrylic stand which measures 7.5″ (19cm) tall from top of head to base of the stand.
