Planet of the Apes (2001) – Krull Sword

Sword wielded by Krull, actor Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa in the 2001 Tim Burton remake Planet of the Apes. In 2029, an Air Force astronaut crash-lands on a mysterious planet where evolved, talking apes dominate a race of primitive humans. Once one of Thade’s generals, Krull was demoted to the house servant of Senator Sandor after a falling out with Thade and how he treated the human slaves. He can be seen wielding this sword against fellow apes in the final battle of the film. This piece is made of a dense, urethane rubber, with an intimidating handle section featuring four large spikes on the top and four smaller on the bottom. The long blade if also made of urethane and supported with a metal rod. This piece measures 40″ in length and remains in excellent, production used condition.
