The Fifth Element – Mangalore Head

A Mangalore head from the Luc Besson sci-fi adventure The Fifth Element. Mangalores were mercenaries for hire, helping search for the element stones before ultimately being double-crossed by Jean-Baptiste Emanuel Zorg played by Gary Oldman. The Mangalore head is made from foam rubber and is realistically painted in mottled brown and purple ‘flesh’ tones with teeth and a pair of goggles fitted to add to the alien look of the creature. Unfortunately due to age this Mangalore head shows signs of hardening of the foam with cracks and splits. Also the neck area is in poor condition, this head is in need of restoration.
