David Dunn’s (Bruce Willis) long security poncho from the 2000 M. Night Shyamalan thriller, Unbreakable. In the film, Philadelphia security guard David Dunn discovers that he is gifted with extraordinary abilities. Upon receiving guidance from the strange comic enthusiast, Elijah Price (Samuel L. Jackson), David reluctantly dons a cape and emerges as a modern day super hero.
This poncho is seen in the third act of the film, when David accepts his role as a protector and takes his superhero act to the streets. This particular poncho is one of the longer versions worn by David, as his poncho slowly gets larger as the film progresses. Made of green nylon, and featuring “Security” printed along the back shoulder area in faded yellow lettering. The front of the poncho also features “FSU”, an acronym for Franklin State University where David works.
