Flash Gordon Pink “Maiden” Costume

A vintage original sheer “maiden” robe and headdress ensemble from the cult sci-fi film Flash Gordon, the 1980 science fiction picture directed by Mike Hodges. The robe consists of iridescent tulle hand-painted with gold fantasy patterns. Headdresses is fabricated of glass tube beads, metallic bullion threading, fabric, beads and chain mail components on wire armatures.  In screen worn fine condition.
