The X-Files (1993) – Morley Cigarettes

A production used packet of ‘Morley’ prop cigarettes made for Chris Carter’s long running paranormal investigative series, The X-Files. In one of the longest-running science fiction series in network TV history, FBI special agents investigate unexplained, mind-bending cases known as “X-Files.” Though the government is convinced that the outlandish reports are false, conspiracy theorist Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and realist Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson), for most of the series, stop at nothing to prove that “the truth is out there.” Series creator Chris Carter also serves as executive producer of the thrilling pop-culture phenomenon.

Morley cigarettes were smoked throughout the series as the favored brand of the mysterious antagonist known as ‘The Smoking Man’ (William B. Davis). The fictional cigarette brand ‘Morley’ has appeared in numerous television shows and films from as early as 1960 when they appeared in Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho. This pack is made of cardboard and shows the classic red and white color scheme with the “Morley” brand and measures 3 1/4″ x 2 1/4″ x 1″ (8.25cm x 5.75cm x 2.5cm).
