The Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) – Iron Man “Mark III” Paint Test Helmet

This is a “Mark III” paint test helmet from the production of the 2015 Marvel superhero film The Avengers: Age of Ultron. When Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) jump-starts a dormant peacekeeping program, things go terribly awry, forcing him, Thor (Chris Hemsworth), the Incredible Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and the rest of the Avengers to reassemble. As the fate of Earth hangs in the balance, the team is put to the ultimate test as they battle Ultron, a technological terror hell-bent on human extinction. Along the way, they encounter two mysterious and powerful newcomers, Pietro and Wanda Maximoff.

This helmet was created by Legacy Studios to help aid in the pre-production process where a color pallet was to beee choose for the updated suits, specifically the Iron Legion robots seen in the film. This piece comes in two parts, the faceplate which is chrome plated and the body of the helmet which is made of lightweight resin type material. The face plate is heavily chrome plated and there are three attachment points underneath where the faceplate would be attached to the top of the helmet. This piece remains in excellent, production made condition.
