Iron Man 3: Don Cheadle “Iron Patriot” Paint Test Helmet Faceplate

A paint test faceplate for the character of Iron Patriot made during the production of the 2013 film Iron Man 3. This piece was created by famous Legacy Studios to test the different paint styles used on the Iron Patriot costume introduced in the film. This piece is made of fiberglass and has been painted a metallic silver with red detailing. Although the production did not ultimately go with this design in the final film, paint tests like these are an integral part of the design process for films.
