Prometheus (2012) – Bridge Wall Detailing

Original piece of wall detailing used in the production of the 2012 science fiction film Prometheus. The discovery of a clue to mankind’s origins on Earth leads a team of explorers to the darkest parts of the universe. Two brilliant young scientists lead the expedition. Shaw (Noomi Rapace) hopes that they will meet a race of benevolent, godlike beings who will in some way verify her religious beliefs, while Holloway (Logan Marshall-Green) is out to debunk any spiritual notions. However, neither the scientists nor their shipmates are prepared for the unimaginable terrors that await them.

This piece was used as set dressing on the bridge of the Prometheus and are present above the entrance ways. This is a clear acrylic wall panel with two pieces of attached grey plastic and attached vinyl signage in the middle. The sign features a red film gel backing that would make the sign illuminate red when lit from the backside. This piece measures 8.5″ x 4.5″ and shows signs of wear from when it was attached to the set, but remains in excellent, production used condition.
