Batman & Robin (1997) – Batman’s (George Clooney) Ice Suit Gloves

Original pair of “Ice Suit” gloves used inn the production of the 1997 DC superhero film Batman & Robin. This superhero adventure finds Batman (George Clooney) and his partner, Robin (Chris O’Donnell), attempting to the foil the sinister schemes of a deranged set of new villains, most notably the melancholy Mr. Freeze (Arnold Schwarzenegger), who wants to make Gotham into an arctic region, and the sultry Poison Ivy (Uma Thurman), a plant-loving femme fatale. As the Dynamic Duo contends with these bad guys, a third hero, Batgirl (Alicia Silverstone), joins the ranks of the city’s crime-fighters.

These gloves were used by Batman, actor George Clooney along with his signature “Ice Suit” in the finale of the film where Batman, Robin and Batgirl face off against Mr. Freeze. This set of gloves feature a polyester and nylon construction with sewn in padded sections around the knuckles, a zipper present on the bottom of the wrists and added urethane rubber sections on the arms and top of the hands that are painted silver two match the suit. Each glove is labeled “Duncan Furgeson” and are labeled for the characters stunt double. These gloves are custom made and do not feature a size. This set remains in excellent, production used condition.
