Original student wand featured in the production of the 2001 Christopher Columbus fantasy film Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. Adaptation of the first of J.K. Rowling’s popular children’s novels about Harry Potter, a boy who learns on his eleventh birthday that he is the orphaned son of two powerful wizards and possesses unique magical powers of his own. He is summoned from his life as an unwanted child to become a student at Hogwarts, an English boarding school for wizards. There, he meets several friends who become his closest allies and help him discover the truth about his parents’ mysterious deaths.
This generic style wand was used by one of the students during their time at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. This piece was turned from a real piece of wood and features a light brown main wand body with a painted black handle section. The entire wand has been weathered lightly by the production and given a black wash to make the piece seem aged. This item measures around 14” in length and remains in excellent, production used condition.
