Army of Darkness – Miniature Deadite Puppet

Miniature Deadite puppet used in the production of the cult classic Army of Darkness. Ash is transported back to medieval days, where he is captured by the dreaded Lord Arthur. Aided by the deadly chainsaw that has become his only friend, Ash is sent on a perilous mission to recover the Book of the Dead, a powerful tome that gives its owner the power to summon an army of ghouls.

This stop motion hero puppet can be seen along with others during the grave sequences fighting Ash. This piece is made of multiple skeleton sections all held together with metal armature and stop motion wires. Each bone is made of resin and has been expertly painted and aged by the production. The skeleton’s armature is still movable, containing small ball and socket joints which were used to animate it while filming. This piece includes a rare miniature sword and was used for close-up shots during filming. This item remains in excellent, production used condition.
