Edge of Tomorrow – Military Drone Laser Cannon

Laser cannon used by the UDF on their military drones in the 2014 Tom Cruise science fiction film Edge of Tomorrow. A soldier fighting aliens gets to relive the same day over and over again, the day restarting every time he dies. This repurposed stage light was used as a “laser cannon” by the prop department and was mounted on the front of the large military drones that carried the troops into battle. This piece is made of metal and resin and features a square base with various style plugs one one side. On top of the base is mounted the “laser cannon”, which sits on a gimbal and when plugged in actually moves in all directions automatically. The piece is painted a military style tan and has been weathered heavily by the production for use in the film. This piece remains in excellent, production used condition.
