Jumanji – Monkey – Concept Art Johnston’s Collection

Production-printed monkey concept art from the 1995 Robin Williams film Jumanji, directed by Joe Johnston. A magical board game unleashes a world of adventure on siblings Peter (Bradley Pierce) and Judy Shepherd (Kirsten Dunst). While exploring an old mansion, the youngsters find a curious, jungle-themed game called Jumanji in the attic. When they start playing, they free Alan Parrish (Robin Williams), who’s been stuck in the game’s inner world for decades. If they win Jumanji, the kids can free Alan for good — but that means braving giant bugs, ill-mannered monkeys and even stampeding rhinos!

This color image is of an angry monkey in a crouched position and was printed on an 11” x 17” section of white paper. The image is affixed to a piece of heavy poster board that measures 12 x 18 inches. On the back of the poster board is the autograph of the director that reads ‘JOE JOHNSTON-DIRECTOR OF JUMANJI’ in black ink. The lot also includes a COA with an image of Joe Johnston holding the concept art as well as his autograph that verifies provenance.
