Mortal Kombat: Annihilation (1997) – Rain Costume Ensemble

Original costume worn by the character of Rain in the video game film adaptation Mortal Kombat: Annihilation. Every generation, a portal opens up between the Outerworld and Earth. Emperor Shao-Kahn (Brian Thompson), ruler of the mythical Outerworld, pounces the moment the portal reopens and slips through with his mighty warriors, intent on total domination and uniting the two worlds. However, he has only seven days to complete his task. In the meantime, opposition grows and warriors Sonya Blade (Sandra Hess), Jax (Lynn “Red” Williams), Kitana (Talisa Soto) and Liu Kang (Robin Shou) get ready for war.

This costume was worn by actor Tyrone Wiggins and can be seen throughout the films run. This set consists of a black spandex top with attached bright purple foam sections, with an added belt also with a black base and added purple foam sections. Included is a pair of black spends gloves with purple accents and a full head hood with neck covering featuring a purple foam mouth guard sections. This set shows slight wear from use in the films but remains in excellent, production used condition.
