Princess Tavra Sword – The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance

Original sword used by the character of Tara, princess of the Vapra clan, and voiced by actress Caitriona Balfe in the 2019 Netflix original series The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. When three Gelfling discover the horrifying secret behind the Skeksis’ power, they set out on an epic journey to ignite the fires of rebellion and try to save their world.

This sword was used by the character through the first season of the hit Netflix show and can also be seen in still images used to promote the show. This piece is scaled to the puppet used in the show and measures around 2 feet in length. It is made of a dense urethane rubber and features an intricate handle section with finger guard that is paired in hues of black and bronze with an antique finish. The blade is silver in color and shows some signs of wear from use by the production. The handle features clear purple resin cast faux crystals that are inset. This piece remains in excellent condition.
