Tropic Thunder (2008) – Jeff Portnoy “Heroin” Tunic

Red and black tunic used by the character of Jeff Portnoy, actor Jack Black in the 2008 hit comedy Tropic Thunder. While shooting a war film, the director attempts to liven up proceedings by dropping the principle actors into the middle of a real jungle, claiming he is going to capture their performance with hidden cameras. The hapless group including drug-addled comedy star Jeff Portnoy and po-faced method man Kirk Lazarus are completely unaware when a series of unfortunate events leads them into the middle of a real war zone.

Portnoy adorns this red & black tunic during the final act of the film where he finds a large supply of heroin in the jungle, and can be seen wearing it throughout the remainder of the film. This piece is made of cotton and wool and is black in color featuring a red, green and orange striped pattern on the bottom with frayed edges, and a red chest detail featuring numerous small gold round buttons. This piece was custom made by the production and does not feature a size. This item remains in excellent, production used condition.
