The Dark Crystal (1982) – Autographed Press Kit

Original press kit for the 1982 Jim Henson fantasy film The Dark Crystal. Jen (Stephen Garlick), raised by the noble race called the Mystics, has been told that he is the last survivor of his own race, the Gelflings. He sets out to try to find a shard of the dark crystal, a powerful gem that once provided balance to the universe. After the crystal was broken, the evil Skeksis used sinister means to gain control. Jen believes that he can repair the dark crystal and bring peace back to the world, if he can only find the remaining shard.

These were give out to members of the press to help promote the film before its release. This set features various ephemera pieces such as a collection of black and white 8X10 glossy photographs, a fold out poster, a custom made light tan cover with the films logo embossed, a heat transfer and a signed postcard. This set shows sigs of wear from age but remains I excellent, product made condition.
